About Us

Here we strive to deliver the best surfing experience, for everyone to enjoy and reach their ultimate surfing skills, and above all, have fun!

At our academy, you will find individual and group classes, as well as advanced-level classes, so that you can be at the top of your surfing!

With different stages of learning, and for all ages, our main activities are surfing, bodyboarding, stand-up paddle (SUP) lessons, surf clinics and birthday parties! We can also provide for the organisation of other events, either with our own transportation or in co-operation with other companies we are associated with.

At Caparica Surf Academy, you will find all the fundamental equipment, from soft boards, to epoxy boards, and of course, wetsuits and lycra shirts.

We also do rentals of Surfboard, Bodyboard, Stand Up Paddle, Wetsuits and Fins.

Surf Lessons

For the last 7 years, we have developed a range of surf lessons for all types of surfers: high levels and beginners, women, children, tourists, parents or just beach lovers. We provide top instructions to surf and have fun!

Group Surf Lessons

Our Group Surf Lessons translate the systematic approach of teaching people the proper mechanics for surfing. On the sand we develop balance and learning about the waves, leaving plenty of time to catch waves with our trainers. Surf Lessons range from beginner to advanced level.

Private Surf Lessons

We will give you the special attention necessary in a private surf lesson. Our instructors will teach you the fundamentals which guide you through the tough process of learning how to surf. No matter your skill level, you will learn the basics of board handling, positioning, paddling, various techniques on getting to your feet, surfing etiquette, ocean knowledge, and water safety.
